Welcome to week 35 of a 52-week account of my experience over the year usingĀ OddsJam.
You can read about last week here: OddsJam Bettings Results for Week 34 of 52.
Recap
Week 35 was up and down like a see-saw. Things were looking great until Thursday. That is the way it goes sometimes. Of course, you can’t win unless you make the bets. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. I still finished the week slightly in the green, so it counts as a win.
Long-term, I’m profitable about two weeks out of every three. That can only be a good thing and is an indication of just how good OddsJam is at finding that edge!
April continues to be in the green which means every day is one day close to a ninth straight profitable month +EV betting (value betting) with OddsJam!
MLB is in full swing with a ton of games to bet on every day! The NBA and NHL playoffs are just around the corner

Highlights
For the second week in a row, I did not hit the biggest edge that I found. That is rare these past few months. However, the size of the edges I’m finding continues to be significant!
The biggest edge I found for the week was on the Bulls-Wizzards game where I had Tristan Vukcevic at over 3.5 assists. I put the bet on at +225 odds (3.25 decimal) and it closed at +141 (2.41) with an incredible 36% edge! A miss, but still a bet I’d make any day of the week.
The biggest edge I did land this week was Joel Embiid to have over 1.5 threes in the Magic-76ers game. I placed the best with a 13% edge at +170 odds (2.7) and it closed at +152 (2.52). A nice little boost.
The biggest long shot for the week was in the Timberwolves-Nuggest game when Nikola Jokic drained more than 1.5 threes. I managed to place this one at +190 odds (2.9) with an edge of 2%. This was a bit rare as the line moved against me and it closed at +205 (3.05). Bu a win is a win!
My biggest miss for the week happened in the Blackhawks-Blues game. I had the Blackhawks on the puck line at +2.5 for -208 odds (1.48). It closed flat with a minimal edge which didn’t matter as the Blues won big.
Results
(Just a reminder that I’m in New Zealand, so everything is a day ahead.)
For the week, I am up $11. This is the second week in a row that is just about flat. Slow and steady and keep placing bets!
The Numbers
Another flat week, but the fundamentals were solid again! I beat the closing line value (CLV) 82% of the time. We know that means long-term profit! OddsJam is so good at finding a consistent edge!
My win rate for the week was the same as last week at 47%. A little frustrating that it wasn’t a few percentage points higher, but happy that it wasn’t a few percentage points lower.
The profit/wager for the week was 0.4%. Again,a flat week.
My number of bets and overall turnover for the week were down again. I managed to get in 120 bets for the week with a turnover of just under $3k.
You can’t see is that Saturday here was a monster day for betting, but not profit. I had 60 bets in for the day and wagered the most I’ve ever had in a single day at over $1.2k. When everything lines up, it is crazy to see how many bets are available!
My Thoughts
Half the turnover and bets for the week on Saturday is great. If only I could get that many bets in every Saturday! I’m still playing the long game and, if you are a +EV bettor, you should too. We know variance goes up and down, but long term it evens out and profit is there for the taking! I can’t wait to see if week 36 is a monster week!
