Here we are in week three of a 52-week account of my experience over the year with OddsJam.

Finally, a down week. Knowing how variance works, I knew this was going to happen eventually. Still, not a significant downturn, just a minor correction. Since the start of August, my returns have been insane and not sustainable … remember, positive expected value sports betting is a slow and steady process.
Life has been busy, so I didn’t manage bets every day. However, with the NFL season set to start this week, I know there will be plenty more bets on the way.

Overall, I’m down 0.8 betting units for the week (just a reminder, I use the minimum wager I’m willing to bet at as the base for the year to determine how much profit I’m making so you can easily compare to your bankroll).
Some lines moved against me, but that is part of the process. Take it in stride and just keep making the +EV bets long enough, and things will all work out.
For the week, I managed 30 bets and beat the CLV 73% of the time. Great to see the numbers keep running in my favor, even when placing bets up to 18 hours ahead of an event.
NCAA football is up and running. MLB continues. With the NFL kicking off this week, the number of bets I place should start to creep up a bit. In the past, when NFL, NBA, and NHL are up and running, with NCAA as well, I’ve easily managed weeks with 250+ bets.
I keep finding more and more to love about OddsJam.
