Welcome to week six of a 52-week account of my experience over the year with OddsJam.
You can read about last week here: OddsJam Betting Results Week 5 of 52.
Week six was a week of contradictions. It ended up being a very profitable week, even though I didn’t manage to place bets on two consecutive days AND I only had 18 bets for the week. Always remember, with OddsJam it is about playing with a positive edge over the long term.

I’m up 20.8 betting units for the week (a betting unit is my smallest wager). Given how many bets I placed and the value of the wagers, the results are insane. I hit some wonderful MLB player props on strikeout lines, which was most of the winnings for the week.
Sunday’s NFL games, and a few NCAA football games, helped start the week off right. I do find more and more that as long as I can get the NFL bets in quickly enough, there are enough to make most Sundays profitable.
We’ve just switched to daylight savings time here in New Zealand, so that actually gives me more NFL to bet on, as long as I’m up around 5:30am.
September is starting to shape up to be a good month. Unless some wicked variance comes back to kick me, I’m looking for September to be better than August. I’m very much looking forward to the NHL and NBA getting underway next month. I know I get a lot more +EV action, with a few arbitrage and middle bets for a bit of a boost as well.
A light week with only 18 bets, I beat the CLV 78% of the time, and won 56% of my bets, which is incredibly high based on the lines I placed.
The 18 bets for the week is very low, but that is just how life was going this week. Finding the time when the bets were available just didn’t happen. Hopefully, this week will run a bit smoother.
