Welcome to week 26 of a 52-week account of my experience over the year with OddsJam.

Recap
Week 26 was yet another profitable week with OddsJam. Nice to have back-to-back green weeks. In many ways, Week 26 was typical. A mix of up days and down days. A few extra bets in when I could get them in. One rough day and one very good day. All of that evened out for a profit/wager of 4.39%, which is very close to my long-term average.
Being back at work full-time is limiting my time for betting. There have been a lot of bets available early in the morning when I get up (remember, I’m in New Zealand), 7+ hours before game time, and I’ve been able to sneak in a few bets during my breaks. For now, it is working and sustainable as I think I’ve found the rhythm.
As crazy as it sounds I’ve been consistently profitable over the long haul. I’m closing in on seven straight profitable months, some much more so than others. Not every month can be as good as November or September. I’m still enjoying +EV betting as a side hustle.
NFL (one game to go), NHL, and NBA are all available for bets. There are also a ton of NCAAB games every week. Now is a great time to start your own profitable sports betting journey! Highlights
I hit the biggest edge I found for the week in the Rockets-Pacers game when Tyrese Haliburton had over 6.5 assists at a tidy 10.54% edge. I placed the best at +102 odds (2.02 decimal) and it closed at -111 odds (1.9 decimal) In the last five weeks, I’ve hit four of the highest edges I’ve found for the week. At just over 10%, this week’s biggest edge was the smallest edge of the bunch.
Side note, ‘Player Assists’ is my most profitable type of bet. It has been an incredible money-maker. ‘Player Rebounds’ was a challenge for a long time, but has nicely crept up to be very profitable as well. It just goes to show that you do need large numbers sometimes to even out the variance.
I ended up with a monster edge on the biggest long shot for the week. I had the Pelicans in the first-half money line against the Clippers. The Pelicans were underdogs at +180 odds (2.8 decimal). The edge at the time was just over 3%. The line closed at +159. A tidy profit thanks to the Pelicans.
My biggest miss for the week happened when Malik Monk had more than 3.5 rebounds in the Pistons-Kings game. I had the under at -154 odds (1.65 decimal). Not that much of a favorite, but a miss is a miss.
Results
(A heads up that OddsJam has sorted the timezone issue and now everything is displaying as expected, even the last day of the month!)
For the week, I’m up $108, a steady week. OddsJam really does make this side hustle easy.
The Numbers
I bounced back this week against the closing line. After my all-time low of 68% last week, I beat the CLV 75% this week.
My win rate for the week was up a tick at 55%. I’m down on the profit/wager this week, but my overall profit is up as I had more bets in. My profit/wager this week was 4.39%.
My turnover was up way up again this week, a reflection of getting in more bets. I was up $108 on the week with a turnover of just under $2500 on 129 bets.
This is week 26 of 52, marking the halfway point. I’ll get a write-up for ‘Half-Time’ sorted in the next few days. With the consistent profit, OddsJam for value (+EV) betting sure makes for a nice side hustle.
