Results

I’m back from an extended break and getting back into the +EV betting groove. It all comes back so quickly, just like riding a bike.

Back to the win column for the week. This still feels very slow compared to months like November and January when there is so much more on.

I finished the week up $82 which was a nice welcome back!

The Numbers

My win rate for the week was very high at 58%. With low volume for the week, that isn’t surprising as you will get more variance with fewer bets.

Getting back to sports betting after a break and leading off with a winning week is great!

I beat the closing line 88% of the time this week, well above my 80% long-term average.

It was a very light week with only 36 bets placed with a turnover of just over $700.

I profited 11.2% per wager this week, which is insane. But again, with the low turnover you can get a high positive variance. A tidy little profit to start back.

Side Note: If you are wondering why I skipped ahead from June to August, it is because I was on an extended holiday. It wasn’t planned when I started this journey, so I had to make the call about how to document the gap. I’ve decided just to skip ahead. It will look a bit strange, but it is what it is.
