Results

A solid week with a tiny bit more volume. Lots of profit from MLB pitcher props.

Back-to-back weeks in the win column is an added bonus after an extended break.

For the week I was up $142. Given my volume of bets, I’ll take it.

The Numbers

My win rate for the week was down a bit at 53%, but still above my long-run average of 50%. Maybe this is just some positive variance.

For a second week in a row I managed to beat the closing line 88% of the time. How often you beat the closing line is the most important metric in profitable v+EV betting (value betting), and 88% is outstanding!

A few more bets in this week with 43 bets placed and a turnover of just under $1.1k. For reference, I fully suspect to be able to consistently get that many bets in with that level of turnover on a near-daily basis once the NBA regular season starts.

My profit margin per wager this week was even higher than last week’s crazy 11.2%. I finished this week with a profit margin of 13.3% per wager! That is some positive variance, and I’ll take it!

Side Note: If you are wondering why I skipped ahead from June to August, it is because I was on an extended holiday. It wasn’t planned when I started this journey, so I had to make the call about how to document the gap. I’ve decided just to skip ahead. It will look a bit strange, but it is what it is.
