Results

A third solid week in a row! Solid returns from MLB pitcher props – they have always been a solid bet for me and it shows!

A third straight week in the green, even with low volume. I’m up $161 for the week!

The Numbers

I hit on 53% of my bets this week, which is still a bit high and is certainly some positive variance. No complaints here.

I only managed to beat the closing line value 77% of the time this week. That is still more than high enough to be profitable long-term, even if it is slightly under my long-run average of 80%.

My volume of bets was down over last week with only 32 bets in for the week and a turnover of $820. I’m counting down the days until the NBA season begins so I can get my volume way, way up.

I managed to hit an even higher profit margin this week at 19.6%! That is well above expectations and is nothing more than a significant amount of positive variance.

However, I know that in the long-run, variance always finds a way to balance out.

August 2024 is looking like it is going to finish strong, even with the low volume. It is nice to be back.

Side Note: If you are wondering why I skipped ahead from June to August, it is because I was on an extended holiday. It wasn’t planned when I started this journey, so I had to make the call about how to document the gap. I’ve decided just to skip ahead. It will look a bit strange, but it is what it is.
