Results

September is here, but negative variance has caught up to me. After a few green weeks in a row, which is always nice, I finished this week in the red.

The week finished down $130. I’m sure the slowdown will only be temporary, but I’ll have to wait to find out.

The Numbers

I got crunched a bit this week winning only 42% of my bets. Knowing the odds that I’m placing, that is lower than expected.

For the week, I had a profit margin of -14.5%, which certainly stings.

The good news is I beat the closing line value 82% of the time, so I know I’m on the right track and it is just a bit of negative variance catching up with me.

My volume dipped from last week with only 42 bets in for the week and a turnover of $900.

After a strong August, just like last year, I’m curious if September 2024 will be as healthy and profitable as September 2023!
